Join a Hub

Entelect will again be hosting hubs at all of our South African Offices. This is for the Online Qualification Round of Google Hash Code. The Hubs are as below:

• Entelect PTA
• Entelect CT

It’s a fun and relaxed competition where you do not need to be a wizard of AI to participate! The prize money is worth it, so get your team of 2-4 together and register at one of our hubs today.

Be sure to register individually at https://codingcompetitions.withgoogle.com/hashcode/ and then select your applicable hub from the list in the Judge’s System.

What is Hash Code?

Google’s team-based programming competition, Hash Code, allows you to share your skills and connect with other coders as you work together to solve a problem modelled off a real Google engineering challenge! In small teams of two to four, coders all over the world will tackle the first problem through an Online Qualification Round. Though this round is hosted online, teams can come together to compete side-by-side in locally coordinated Hash Code hubs. The top teams from this round are invited to join us at an international Google office for our annual Hash Code Final Round.

The qualification round

The Online qualification round takes place on February 20th, 2020 at 19:30 SAST and registered teams from anywhere are invited to participate from one of our hubs. This means anyone can join, Entelectual or not, so you can invite your family and buddies to this one (no under 16’s). Top scoring teams from the Online qualification round will then be invited to Google’s office to compete in the Final Round of the competition on the 25th April.
